Canada150 Grant for an Amazing Community-Use Playground

Here is a recent message from Immanuel Christian School in Aylmer who were a recent recipient of a grant through the Aylmer Area Community Foundation.  We are pleased to partner with this community based project.

“Thanks to the Aylmer Area Community Foundation and the Community Foundations of Canada, we are still celebrating Canada 150 at ICS! This weekend marked the installation of the long-awaited Calvin the Caterpillar and Harry the Hippo for our Outdoor Class and Playground Improvements! We gratefully acknowledge our volunteer installation crew, Micah M, Gord W, Johnny G, Matthew C! And, thanks to the Town of Aylmer Ontario for the addition of a garbage can to keep things clean! We treat our playground as a public space and welcome community members after hours! We are all blessed by partnerships like these with our local community. Projects like this connect our students to the Town, and grow our students as caring and responsible citizens! #CFC150
