Join us for the lighting of the parks, Friday November 25th starting at 6:30pm. The Aylmer Area Community Band will take us on a musical journey through our favourite Christmas carols. Santa will visit for your photographs and you are invited to walk throughout the parks enjoying the decorations. Members of the Royal Bank of Canada will be handing out free hot chocolate and treats will also be available.
To kick off Canada’s 150th celebration, Balmoral Park will be decorated in red and white lights to celebrate the monumental occasion.

We invite you to support the AACF by purchasing our Annual Christmas Angel. This is the 15th in the Series and is a limited edition. Angels can be purchased at O’Neil’s Fine Jewellery in Aylmer for $20 cash. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support local projects, organizations and events through grants in the Town of Aylmer, Township of Malahide and the Municipality of Bayham.
We are excited to share that the Aylmer Area Community Foundation’s 2016 Angel is now available at O’Neil’s Jewellery in Aylmer. ‘Wish Upon a Star’ is only $20 (cash or cheque payable to AACF) and can be picked up at O’Neil’s during business hours. Please share with friends and family as this makes a unique gift and helps us give back to our community!
You are invited to the East Elgin Community Complex on Tuesday, October 25th from 9:30am-12:30pm. Skating, shuffleboard, pickle ball, fitness class and more! Guest speaker from VON- Jon Merkley and lunch provided by Aylmer Submarine. Cost is only $10/participant.
